Hello. It’s been awhile. Six and a half months to be exact. We are still waiting for the okay to bring Max home. The case is going to be heard in court on Monday the 22nd where it will be decided if he will be coming home sooner or later. We’re obviously hoping for sooner.

In the eight months since we last saw our sweet Max our patience has been tested, our hearts have ached, our hopes have been taunted…but we have only fallen more in love with our son and each day that has passed has only strengthened our commitment to him. One day he will come home and hopefully someday, somehow we will find a way to make up for the many days and nights he has spent alone. We can’t wait to start trying.
